Countdown Launch Ceremony to the 8th Children of Asia International Sports Games to be held June 25 – July 7, 2023 took place in Yakutsk. Less than a year is left before the Opening ceremony of the Games.
Countdown was launched by Head of the Sakha Republic (Yakutia) Mr. Aysen Nikolaev, President of the Children of Asia International Committee Mr. Vladimir Maksimov and a member of the Executive Committee of the Olympic Council of Asia Ms. Natalya Sipovich.
“Countdown Launch Ceremony is the result of Chefs de Mission Seminar of the countries participating in the 8th Children of Asia Games to be held next year in their birthplace in Yakutsk. It is significant that launch ceremony took place in the presence of representatives of 13 foreign countries, participants of the seminar. The countdown clock is the main reminder to the organizers and residents of our Republic of how many days are left until the main sporting event in the country,” said Mr. Vladimir Maksimov, President of the Children of Asia International Committee.
Recall that from July 17 to July 20, Chefs de Mission Seminar is being held in Yakutsk. During the seminar, the participants get acquainted with the social and sports infrastructure of the host city of the Children of Asia-2024 Games.
