The Relay started at the Amma-Olymp Stadium. Mikhail Artemiev, the Head of Amginsky Nasleg, gave a speech and welcomed the participants and guests of the event.
The honor to light the first torch was given to Stepan Kuzmin, the Head of Amginsky District, candidate for master of sports, champion of the 2nd Children of Asia Games.
The flame of the Games was carried along the main streets of Amga by 11 torchbearers, including Aytal Antonov, world champion in mas-wrestling, Tuyara Emelyanova, coach-teacher, Anita Nogovitsyna, multiple champion and medalist of the Sakha Republic and the Far Eastern Federal District in table tennis, Anton Permyakov coach-teacher and alumnus of the Games, and Mikhail Pakhomov, director of the Center of Sports Training of National Teams of the Sakha Republic.
At the finish line, Stepan Kuzmin, the Head of Amginsky District, congratulated the participants of the relay. Torchbearer Mikhail Kim bestowed Stepan Kuzmin with the torch of the 8th Children of Asia Games.
