Aisen Nikolaev Inspected Readiness of Venues for the Children of Asia Games

Head of the Sakha Republic (Yakutia) Aisen Nikolaev during the offsite meeting inspected the readiness of venues for the 8th Children of Asia Games and coordinated on the approval of the two new amenities in Yakutsk.

The Head inspected the major repairs of the Tuymaada Stadium. The opening and closing ceremonies of the Children of Asia Games, as well as competitions in several sports will be held there.
 "The works are on schedule, there are no delays. It should be completed by June 1. Renovation of the venues will ensure a high level of competitions and events of the Games, as well as create comfortable conditions for participants and spectators," Aisen Nikolaev noted.
The stadium is undergoing work to install seats, lay artificial lawn on the soccer field, prepare for marking the running track and field arena, and lay asphalt on the adjacent territory. In addition, the stadium lighting will be upgraded and a modern security system will be installed. More than 140 people are involved in the project.
 
The Komsomolskaya Square, where the awarding ceremonies for the winners and medalists of the competitions will be held, is also undergoing major repairs. Here the base for asphalt is prepared, which will be laid in the next few days.
 
During the offsite meeting, the Head of Yakutia visited the territories for future amenities in Yakutsk.
Demolition of a 16-apartment building on Bestuzhev-Marlinsky Street has begun. Since this place is located near the Institute of Water Transport, a thematic Rivermen Square will be here in the future. Aisen Nikolaev instructed to develop a beautiful project to make the public space a favorite place for people to relax.
Improvement works will also be carried out on the site of another emergency house demolished under the National Project, located at 8/1 Dzerzhinsky Street.
