Ms. Sardaana Zhendrinskaia, Head of International Relations Department of the Children of Asia International Committee, took part in a Strategic session dedicated to the International Translator's Day.
The event was attended by Deputy Minister for External Relations and Peoples' Affairs of the Sakha Republic (Yakutia) Diana Stepanova, Director of NEFU Foreign Philology and Regional Studies Institute Mr. Vladlen Kugunurov, Head of English Language and Translation Department Galina Parnikova, as well as students of the Institute.
Ms. Sardaana Zhendrinskaya noted that students of NEFU traditionally take part in Children of Asia Games as volunteers, translators and attachè. She expressed hope that in the upcoming Games they will make a significant contribution to success of the main sporting event 2024 again.
In addition, Ms. Sardaana Zhendrinskaya congratulated all those present on International Translator's Day and announced the translators recruitment for the 8th Children of Asia International Sports Games. She introduced to the basic requirements and selection criteria. Translators can be persons over 18 with an active lifestyle and a good command of English at least Upper-Intermediate (B2) for the following positions:
- work at competition venues;
- work at International Media Center.
