Residents of the Sangar settlement of the Kobyaysky District welcomed the torch relay of the 8th Children of Asia Games.
Sports veterans and young athletes of the Kobyaysky District carried the flame along the central streets of the settlement. Among them are Nikolay Mosin, Roman Smetanin, Sergei Varfolomeev, Ignat Berezkin, Roman Ibragimov, Akulina Khalgaeva and Milena Morkan.
Alexander Sivtsev, acting head of the Kobyaysky District, Artur Varlamov, deputy head of the Sangar settlement, and torchbearer Mikhail Kim congratulated local residents with this significant event.
The next district to welcome the torch relay will be the Tomponsky District. The torch relay will end on 26 June in Yakutsk at the opening ceremony of the 8th Children of Asia Games.
