Today, Namsky District welcomed the 8th Children of Asia Games Torch Relay. This is the 34th district to host the Torch Relay.
The flame of the Games was carried by the best athletes, activists of the physical culture movement, veterans of sports and youth of Namsky District. Among them are Yuri Everstov, Klavdiya Shelkovnikova, Alexander Azarov, Virineya Kutukova, Alexander Rumin, Aisen Zhergotov, Yuri Dyakonov, Pavel Ivanov, Ayaal Alekseev, Vasily Vinokurov, Vadim Semenov, Anatoly Gladkov, Vyacheslav Dyakonov, Angelina Ivanova, Saidam Parnikov, Aryan Popov and Alexey Vinokurov.
Lit on March 19, at the foot of the Lena Pillars, the flame of the 8th Children of Asia Games has already traveled more than 36,600 kilometers. It was carried by 440 torchbearers and greeted by 880 volunteers.
