The Torch Relay in Verkhoyansk District

The Torch Relay Route ran along the central streets of Batagai. The first torch was lit by the head of Batagai, Yegor Shestakov. He handed over the Torch to the first Master of sports of the Sakha Republic (Yakutia) in khapsagai from Verkhoyansk district Nikolai Mandrov.

The honor of carrying the torch was given to 10 torchbearers - honorary citizens and activists of Verkhoyansk district. The Relay ended Batagai Central square.
