Today, Ust-Aldansky District welcomed the 8th Children of Asia Games Torch Relay. The symbol of the Games was solemnly handed over to representatives of Ust-Aldansky District from Churapchinsky District on the border of municipalities.
The torch with the Flame was carried through the central streets of Borogontsy village by 16 torchbearers, including veterans of sports, champions of international tournaments, coaches, students, activists of the physical culture movement, and the Children of Asia Games alumni.
The Head of Ust-Aldansky District, Vasily Ammosov, congratulated the participants of the relay. He wished all the athletes who will represent the district in the Yakutia team victories at the upcoming competitions.
The next district to receive the Flame of the 8th Children of Asia Games will be Megino-Kangalassky District.
