Mayor of Yakutsk, Evgeny Grigoriev, inspected the progress of repair work at Sterkh Sports Complex and Children's Sports School No. 1.
In total, 14 sports facilities are under repair work - Victory 50th Anniversary Sports Palace, Triumph Sports Center, Dokhsun Sports Complex, Elley Botur Ice Palace, Cholbon and Samorodok Swimming Pools, Modun Sports Complex, Tuymaada Stadium, Dmitriev Olympic Reserve Training College, etc.
“The Children of Asia Games are a good impetus for updating the city’s sports infrastructure. In the future it will serve the residents of the city.”, noted Evgeny Grigoriev.
To recall, two multifunctional sports complexes and a climbing wall in Dokhsun Sports Complex are being built to host the 8th Children of Asia Games trainings and competitions.
