Aisen Nikolaev, Head of the Sakha Republic, held the 8th Children of Asia International Sports Games preparation and staging proceeding. Matters of the infrastructure facilities readiness, cultural programme, transport and medical services, the Opening and Closing Ceremony of the 8th Children of Asia Games were brought to consideration during the meeting.
"Regarding the results of the work of Children of Asia International Committee, Federal Ministry, and Sakha Republic government, the number of countries that formally confirmed their participation in the 8th Children of Asia International Sports Games has mounted intensely," noted Aisen Nikolaev. "During a state visit to China, President Vladimir Putin invited Chinese athletes to take a part in upcoming competitions. The 8th Children of Asia Games will be the biggest international youth sport activity. The preparations must be done to an accomplished standard and completed on time."
More than 3,5 thousands of the 8th Children of Asia Games participants are expected. Each field of teams has designated person from different ministries and departments, facilities and institutions, noncommercial associations of the Sakha Republic.
For effective and synchronized work of all responsibility centers and the 8th Children of Asia Games facilities, the Main Operations Center will be opened on June, 15th. The work of the Main Press Center for accredited media will begin on or before June, 23th. Press centers will also be opened in the sports facilities.
Currently, the sports facilities preparations proceed to completion. A multi-function sports hall construction and reconstruction of other halls and stadiums will come to an end by the end of the month.
Accomodation facility and food facility for the participants will be ready by June, 20th. Staff is vaccinating and attending a medical examination. The participants arrival to the Athletes Village will begin on June, 23rd.
31 medical stations are planned to be opened. 15 of them will be working in the participants accomodation facilities on a 24-hour basis, from the day of participants arrival until the end of the 8th Children of Asia Games. There will also be 16 day medical stations in the sports competitions facilities. These medical stations are reserved to health organizations of the Sakha Republic.
Reckoning the proceeding, Aisen Nikolaev pledged each of the responsible committees to resolve problematic issues on a daily basis.
To test anti-terrorist security, the Head of the Sakha Republic instructed to conduct practical training sessions. Accreditation of the participants, hosts, and volunteers must be done with a rapid pace.
