Today, August 12, Head of Yakutia Aisen Nikolaev met with representatives of the sports community. The meeting was timed to coincide with Athlete's Day.
At the meeting Head of the Republic, Aisen Sergeevich, noted that it is very important to hold the 8th Children of Asia Games at the highest level next year.
“Over the past 100 years, we have never stopped at any obstacles or difficulties, and have always passed all tests with honor. This is a great merit of those whose lives are inextricably linked with sports,” said Aisen Nikolaev and congratulated the athletes on the centennial anniversary of the industry.
Also today, on Komsomolskaya Square, as part of the celebration of Athlete’s Day, a number of events in various sports took place. Guests and residents of the capital met and took pictures with the Mascots of the 8th Children of Asia Games to be held in Yakutsk from June 25 to July 7, 2024.
