A New Chypchaal Sports Complex was Opened for the 8th Children of Asia Games
Today, June 12, the opening of a new Chypchaal Sports Complex took place in Yakutsk, built in preparation for the 8th Children of Asia Games.
Kirill Bychkov, Prime Minister of Yakutia, said: «Today is an important day to feel the sporting spirit, the spirit of competition and a healthy lifestyle - we are opening a new multifunctional complex, which recalls the early start of the largest sports event - 8th Children of Asia Games. In the new sports hall there will be new sports achievements! I congratulate all athletes and residents on its opening!».
The two-storey complex of more than 2,800 square meters provides a universal hall with tribunes for 400 seats, halls for rhythmic gymnastics and boxing. There is a recreation area, sports field and parking.
During the 8th Children of Asia Games from June 28 to July 3, girls volleyball competitions will be held here.
At the 8th Children of Asia Games, which will be held in Yakutsk from June 25 to July 7, 16 facilities will be used for competitions.
