Kazakhstan will represent 200 athletes in 19 sports at the 8th Children of Asia Games
The Republic of Kazakhstan will represent 200 athletes in 19 sports at the 8th Children of Asia Games, reports the press service of the Directorate for Sports Development of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of Kazakhstan.
Young athletes will compete for 239 sets of medals in 24 sports. The competitions will be held at 16 sports grounds in the city.
The Kazakhstan delegation will include 200 athletes, 54 coaches and 6 judges. The head of the delegation is Diyas Ukmet. Kazakh athletes will compete for the victory in 3x3 basketball, boxing, volleyball, judo, athletics, table tennis, swimming, shooting, sambo, freestyle wrestling, Greco-Roman wrestling, trap shooting, taekwondo, rhythmic gymnastics, chess, sport climbing, Go, alysh belt wrestling and kurash.
The Republic of Kazakhstan has been a participant in the Summer Games since 1996 and Winter Children of Asia Games since 2019.
