8th Children of Asia Games Torch Relay Took Part in Olekminsk District

On the Day of the Sakha Republic (Yakutia), Olekminsk residents met the Torch Relay of the 8th Children of Asia Games!

The relay started at Charoit Sports Complex. Torch Handover Ceremony was attented by the head of Olekminsk district Nikolai Kharbin and the mayor of Olekminsk Sergey Shcheblyakov.

The honorary right to light the first torch was given to Nikolai Kharbin. Then the Torch was handed over to the master of sports of the Sakha Republic (Yakutia) in mas-wrestling, two-time champion of the republic Gavril Sivtsev.

The last to end the Ceremony was Ksenia Yankova, 2004 Children of Asia Games participant in athletics and champion of the republic and region in volleyball.
