Medal Ceremony Places at the Children of Asia Games in Yakutsk
The ceremony of awarding the medals of the 8th Children of Asia Games will be held in the days of the competition in the Cultural Park of the Games, located on the Komsomolskaya Square of Yakutsk.
A total of 239 sets of awards will be awarded taking into account demonstration sports. This was stated at a meeting of the commission, which was conducted by the Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Sakha Republic Sergey Mestnikov.
Awards ceremonies for the winners of the Games are divided into two stages. The first stage - flower ceremony - will be held immediately after the competition at the facilities where they were held. The second stage - medals ceremonies - will be held in daily mode on Komsomolskaya Square in Yakutsk from 19:00.
The award-winning attributes for the winners and prize-winners included a medal in the case, a diploma and a stuffed toy - the mascot of the Games. Medals will also be awarded to coaches of winners of competitions. Winners of the Games will receive a sign of the champion of the Games from the Children of Asia International Committee.
As reported during the meeting of the Commission, a volunteer group “Faces of the Games” has been formed, which will lead the awarding of winners of the Games, among which 69 people, including 22 cadet banner-bearers for raising the flags.
The 8th Children of Asia Games will be held from June 25 to July 7, 2024, in Yakutsk.
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin referred to Children of Asia as 'an interesting and successful project in the field of children's and youth sports'.
Head of the Sakha Republic (Yakutia) Aisen Nikolaev noted that the 8th Children of Asia International Sports Games will become one of the largest international competitions in the country in 2024 and will be held at the highest level.
