The meeting was chaired by the head of Yakutia Mr. Aisen Nikolaev.
Preparation of sports, accommodation and catering facilities, volunteer recruitment and submission of documents were discussed at the meeting.
Today, repair works in sports facilities involved in competitions are in full swing in the republic. Tuymaada stadium’s football field, running track, and stands will be renovated. At Dokhsun, Elley Botur, Triumph Sports Complexes and Cholbon Swimming Pool much works are in progress.
“Children of Asia Games to be considered as the main event of this year in our republic, as well as major sporting event in the country in the field of international cooperation with the participation of a large number of Asian countries. We must hold the Games at a high level,” said Mr. Aisen Nikolaev.
Also at Organizing Committee meeting, NBC Sakha was approved as the main broadcaster of the 8th Children of Asia Games.
