These days Yakutsk is accepting guests - Chefs de Mission of the upcoming Games. The seminar brought together representatives of the following teams - Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Maldives, Mongolia, Pakistan, Palestine, Thailand, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Philippines, Sri Lanka, as well as Ural Federal District and Moscow of the Russian Federation.
The first day of the seminar was about getting acquainted with the host city and the Sakha Republic (Yakutia) from a cultural perspective.
A venue tour was organised on the second day of the seminar. Participants inspected sports facilities to be involved in the 8th Children of Asia International Sports Games. Venue tour included Modun, Dokhsun and Triumph Sports Complexes, Tuymaada Stadium and Cholbon Swimming Pool. At this moment repair works have been underway in these facilities.
Following the venue tour a meeting on Sports program was held. Chefs de mission had an opportunity to ask questions concerning sports regulations, accommodation and catering, transportation, visa issues and customs operations.
On July 19, Countdown Launch Ceremony to the 8th Children of Asia Games will took place on Lenin Square.
Recall that Chefs de Mission Seminar is taking place in Yakutsk from July 17 - 20, 2023. During these days representatives of the participating countries will get to know about sports infrastructure of the host city of the upcoming Games.
