We present to you one of the volunteer movement directions of the 8th Children of Asia Games and that is the award group “Faces of the Games”.
More than 300 applications were submitted from girls from 16 to 25 years old. They will have to take part in meetings in the airport terminal of official delegations, presentation and protocol events, flower and medal award ceremonies. All applicants went through several stages of selection.
The award group was welcomed by Mikhail Sivtsev, Director General of the 8th Children of Asia Games Directorate: "Being the face of the 8th Children of Asia Games is not only a great honor, but also a significant responsibility. You inspire young people not only for sporting achievements, but also for striving for personal growth and development".
After several months of selection, 80 members of the award group, including 20 young men from the cadet boarding school, have been officially approved. They will have to undergo training as well as preparation at test events.
