8th Children of Asia Games Opening Ceremony: Audience to Take a Journey to the Arctic Universe!
Opening ceremony of the 8th Children of Asia Games is set to take place on June 26 at 7 pm at Tuymaada Stadium in Yakutsk.
The director of the Opening ceremony is an Honored Artist of the Sakha Republic (Yakutia) - Ruslan Tarakhovsky.
A three-hour program will include Athletes parade, vocal and choreographic performances, as well as performances by famous artists.
“Journey to the Arctic Universe" is central idea of the ceremony. The storyline is based on the interaction of 7 children with artificial intelligence or a virtual world. The performance, in a playful, figurative form, briefly retells the story of origin of the polar nights based on legends of the Arctic peoples. One of the zests of the ceremony will be rounded LED screen,” said Ruslan Tarakhovsky.
It is planned to involve 4,000 people in the Opening ceremony, including 1,800 children aged 9 to 16 years and 2,200 adults from across the republic.
