In-person training of the Children of Asia International Games volunteers will start in Yakutsk on June 18

Ayyllaan Vinokurov, head of the 8th Children of Asia Games volunteer corps, said during a briefing that all volunteers involved in organizing the competition have been accredited. Currently, online training is underway.

Ayyllaan Vinokurov noted that about 1.9 thousand volunteers in 19 functional areas will be involved in the 8th Children of Asia Games. All volunteers have been selected and are undergoing training. They will be provided with food and uniform kits during their work. 

"Volunteers undergo online training on the federal website. Each volunteer takes eight online courses. On June 18, the in-person training begins, and all volunteers will come to Yakutsk,” the head of the volunteer corps reported. 

He also said that more than 180 volunteers are from other regions of Russia. Volunteers from foreign countries, such as Kyrgyzstan and Oman, will also arrive.

Aiyllaan Vinokurov, head of the 8th Children of Asia Games volunteer corps, said that the volunteers, dealing with accreditation and uniform kit distribution, will begin their work on June 10.

The 8th Children of Asia Games will be held from June 25 to July 7, 2024, in Yakutsk. President of Russia Vladimir Putin earlier called the Children of Asia one of the most interesting and successful projects in youth sports.
