Belarusian athletes are finalising their preparations for the 8th Children of Asia Games.
The national archery team is currently undergoing a training course. Six athletes will represent Belarus at the 8th Children of Asia Games - three each in the men's and women's teams. Combined training of athletes will last until 24 June.
The training course was also completed for table tennis athletes of the Specialized Olympic Reserve School for Children and Youth of Belarus. The training course for the athletes was held in the Republic of Kazakhstan. Four athletes will represent the country in this sport - two each in the men's and women's teams.
The decision to admit the national team of the Republic of Belarus to participate in the 8th Children of Asia Games was approved at the meeting of the Board of the Children of Asia International Committee. The application of the National Olympic Committee of the Republic of Belarus was supported by the members of the Board at the meeting on May 2, 2023.
Recall, the 8th Children of Asia Games will be held from 25 June to 7 July in Yakutsk. Archery competitions will be held at the Yunost Stadium and table tennis at the Sulus Sports Complex.
