The meeting was attended by First Deputy Minister of Youth Affairs and Social Communications of Yakutia - Nadezhda Mokhnachevskaya, Mikhail Sivtsev - Director General of the Children of Asia Games Directorate, and Ayyllaan Vinokurov - Head of the 8th Games Volunteer Сorps. The curator of the Volunteer Сorps - Evgeniy Ambrosyev, moderated the meeting.
"The 8th Children of Asia Games is the largest event in the country. Therefore, the importance of our meeting is colossal. We hope for all of you and that together we will hold these Games at a great organisational level," said Mikhail Sivtsev.
The volunteers were introduced to the heads of 19 functional areas for the organisation of the event, as well as the brief information on the preparations and conduct of the 8th Children of Asia Games.
As a result of the application campaign, more than 5,000 candidates applied. The 8th Children of Asia Games Volunteer Сorps, which consists of 1,900 volunteers in 19 functional areas, will work from 17 June to 8 July.
