A training event was held in Yakutsk today aimed at testing the procedures and procedure for admission to the Opening Ceremony of the VIII Games, which will take place on June 26.
Test events are key to preparing for the Games which will take place in 11 days. During testing, the basic procedures for admitting participants and spectators to the Opening Ceremony, as well as transporting national teams from the “Athletes’ Village” to the Tuymaada Stadium, were worked out.
Volunteers from several functional areas took part in the training event and took on the role of sports delegations.
"There is just over one week left before the start of the VIII Games. The upcoming Games will become the most hospitable thanks to you - the volunteers, because it is the volunteers who make the Games. The hard work you put into preparing and hosting the Games will definitely be remembered by all participants and will leave them only unforgettable impressions. I am confident that together we will make the VIII Children of Asia Games unforgettable for all participants and spectators,” said Vladimir Maksimov, the President of the International Committee of Children of Asia.
