Srednekolymsk district took over the 8th Children of Asia GamesTorch Relay. The symbol of the competition arrived accompanied by the guardians of the flame.
The Ceremony were attended by the deputy head of Srednekolymsk district Pyotr Antipin, the mayor of Srednekolymsk Nikolai Chukrov, and the chief specialist of the department for youth policy and sports Nadezhda Mishina.
“Children of Asia Games are an important step in the careers of many athletes, including our famous fellow citizens, silver medalist of the Asian Championship in freestyle wrestling Viktor Rassadin,” noted Nikolai Chukrov.
The first to take the Torch was the deputy head of the district Pyotr Antipin.
The Flame was carried through the streets of the town by young athletes, school students, teachers, coaches and activists of the physical education movement of the Srednekolymsk district.
