Over 400 vehicles will be involved in transportation at the 8th Children of Asia Games. The Minister of Transport and Road Economy Vladimir Sivtsev announced this.
"We are expecting the start of the 8th Children of Asia Games soon. This is a major international event. Preparations are well underway. We expect more than 3 thousand guests. Certainly, transportation of participants and guests of the Games is at the very core. A transport control center is being created, which will coordinate and organize the rolling stock performance," the minister said.
According to Vladimir Sivtsev, the republic has purchased tourist and intercity buses in advance.
He informed that 40 buses would be used on shuttle routes.
"In general, it should be noted that all the main routes have been approved. Mainly the central streets of Yakutsk will be involved: Oyunsky, Poyarkov, Lermontov, Dzerzhinsky, Avtostrada 50 let Oktyabrya and others," he said.
Recall, the 8th Children of Asia Games will be held in Yakutsk from 25 June to 7 July, 2024.
