Composition of the Referees Board of the 8th Children of Asia Games Approved
Commission for the organization and holding of sports events of the 8th Children of Asia Games approved the composition of the Referees Board of the 8th Children of Asia Games.
In total, 724 referees will be involved in 24 sports included into the sports program of the 8th Children of Asia Games, consisting of 240 referees from the Sakha Republic (Yakutia), 442 from regions of Russia, and 42 from the countries participating in the Games.
Chief referee of the 8th Children of Asia Games is the director of the specialized school of the Olympic reserve of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a graduate of the 3rd Children of Asia Games - Merey Akshalov. Chief Referee Board will consist of 23 referees.
Referee Board will include 30 referees in boxing, 49 - sports wrestling, 19 - khapsagai, 27 - judo, 20 - kickboxing, 64 - athletics, 21 - mas-wrestling, 49 - swimming, 26 - shooting, 25 - sambo, 26 - archery, 15- trap shooting, 43 - table tennis, 17 - dance sport (Ten Dance), 5 - dance sport (breaking), 28 - taekwondo, 39 - rhythmic gymnastics, 16 - 3x3 basketball, 31 - volleyball, 6 - mini football (futsal), 16 - chess, 10 - go, 25 - sport climbing, 27 - kurash, 22 - alysh belt wrestling.
The 8th Children of Asia Games will take place from June 25 to July 7, 2024 in Yakutsk. Young athletes will compete for 239 sets of medals in 24 sports.
