The flag of the Republic of Kazakhstan was raised in the Athletes Village of the 8th Children of Asia Games
Teams of participants in the 8th Children of Asia Games continue to arrive in Yakutsk. On June 22 almost all participants from Kazakhstan arrived in the capital of the republic. In honor of the team’s arrival, the country’s flag was raised in the Athletes Village during the national anthem.
According to the Deputy Director of the Sports Development Directorate of the Sports Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan Eset Baitasov young athletes are determined to show their homeland with dignity.
“The guys are in a good mood. The selection was based on the results of the Kazakhstan Championship. The main team line ups have arrived in Yakutia, we have prepared in all areas, we hope we will perform with dignity,” emphasized Eset Baitasov.
For example, for the young gymnast from Kazakhstan Aigynym Rysbek, the Children of Asia Games are the first international competition, so she aims to show her best results.
“The Children of Asia Games is my first international tournament. I hope everything goes well. We have been training for a long time with the coach in order to show our best results at the competition. The most important thing is to conquer yourself and then everything will work out!” said Aigynym Rysbek.
Also today, June 22, the chief judge of the 8th Children of Asia Games Merey Akshalov arrived in Yakutsk.
