National teams participating in the 8th Children of Asia Games continue to arrive in Yakutsk. On June 23, young athletes of the Lao People's Democratic Republic and Tajikistan national teams landed in Yakutsk. To celebrate the arrival of the teams, the flags of the countries were raised to their national anthems in the Athletes Village.
As the coaches of the Tajikistan national team stressed, some of the country's strongest young athletes were selected for the 8th Children of Asia Games.
"We have assembled a very good team, which includes champions and medalists of Asia and champions of many international tournaments. All the athletes are determined to win at the Children of Asia Games. We wish all teams from other countries to show decent results as well," - noted the representatives of the Tajikistan national team.
