Today, activities aimed at checking the procedures for airport pickup, accreditation and accommodation of participants of the upcoming 8th Children of Asia Games were carried out in Yakutsk.
These activities constitute a key element of preparation for the Games, that will gather young athletes of the Asian continent. During the test, the main aspects of organizing the reception of guests and participants were worked out, which will ensure a high level of comfort and security.
Gavril Tsypandin, Director General of the Children of Asia International Committee, noted that Yakutsk has solid experience in hosting major international competitions: "The overall preparations are proceeding in a strict accordance to the plan. The organizers continue to conduct their duties in all directions to welcome all guests and participants of the Games to a high standart. The renovation work is almost complete with finishing touches remaining. The results of today's arrangements made it possible to identify shortcomings that will soon be eliminated. We are all looking forward to the start of the Games and are confident that they will be held at a high level.”
Let us remind you that the 8th Children of Asia Games will be held from June 25 to July 7, 2024 in Yakutsk. 239 sets of medals will be awarded to young athletes in 24 sports. See you in Yakutsk!
