This was announced today by Stepan Stepanov, the representative of Accommodation Commission of the 8th Children of Asia International Sports Games.
“North-Eastern Federal University is preparing the Games facilities. 8 residential buildings of the university to host athletes, coaches, volunteers and service staff. It is planned to accommodate more than 2,700 participants from different countries,” noted Stepan Stepanov.
In addition, the university continues to carry out renovation work.
“Special attention is also paid to the preparation of other 7 facilities of government institutions of the republic to accommodate participants in the cultural program. The Games cultural program participants and representatives of districts of the republic who will be involved in the Opening Ceremony of the Games on June 26 will be accommodated here. The total number of participants from all over the republic is 1,800 people,” said the Head of the department of integrated security and information protection of the Ministry of Education and Science of Yakutia.
Also, together with the regional Ministry of Entrepreneurship, work is underway with hotels to accommodate guests, coaches, judges and organizers of the 8th Children of Asia Games.
