Viktor Lukashenko, President of the National Olympic Committee of the Republic of Belarus, arrived in Yakutsk for the 8th Children of Asia Games.
Viktor Lukashenko was welcomed at the Platon Oyunsky Yakutsk International Airport by President of the Children of Asia International Committee Vladimir Maksimov and Deputy Chairman of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) Government Sergey Mestnikov.
144 young athletes will represent the Republic of Belarus national team at the Games. They will take part in 12 sports: 3x3 basketball, boxing, volleyball, judo, athletics, table tennis, swimming, shooting, wrestling (freestyle, women's freestyle, and Greco-Roman), archery, taekwondo, and rhythmic gymnastics. The national team includes champions and medalists of Belarus and sports record holders in their age categories.
