The Children of Asia Games Exhibition Open at the State Sports Museum of Russia
The Children of Asia Games Exhibition Open as part of the Exposition of National Sports at the State Sports Museum in Moscow.
The State Sports Museum of Russia displayed the flame and torch of the 8th Children of Asia Games. The flame, accompanied by torchbearers Timur Ganeev and Mikhail Kim, was brought to Moscow specially for the exposition at the State Sports Museum.
"A large number of countries take part in the Children of Asia Games in Yakutia's national sports, which is very pleasing to us. The dynamics grows from Games to Games and shows that foreign countries, including Yakutia's national sports, are becoming more and more interested in them. We are glad that the main sports museum of the country has opened an exposition dedicated to the Children of Asia. I am sure that all sports fans and connoisseurs will better feel the atmosphere of a healthy lifestyle, as well as understand the character and inner component of the people of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia)": said Vladimir Maksimov, President of the Children of Asia International Committee.
Visitors and guests of the exposition were also welcomed by Rodion Plitukhin, Secretary General of the Russian Olympic Committee, Leonid Spiridonov, Minister of Physical Culture and Sports of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), Mikhail Sivtsev, Director General of the 8th Children of Asia Games Directorate, Lilia Akhaimova, Olympic champion in artistic gymnastics and Chairman of the Children of Asia Games Alumni Union, and Anastasia Diodorova, silver medallist of the Summer Paralympic Games.
During the exhibition opening, Yakutia's Sports Minister Leonid Spiridonov handed over the torch of the 8th Children of Asia Games to Alexander Dubinin, Acting Director of the State Sports Museum.
The exposition of national sports of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) with the Children of Asia Games exhibition can be visited until November 2024 at the State Sports Museum of Russia.
