Kyrgyz Volunteers Train for 8th Children of Asia Games
A Memorandum of Cooperation for volunteering was signed between the Ministry of Physical Culture and Sports of Yakutia and the Department of Physical Culture and Sports of the Kyrgyz Republic. The signing took place on the sidelines of the XI International Sports Forum “Russia - Sports Power”.
Within the framework of the Memorandum, it is planned to train volunteers Kyrgyzstan for the 8th Children of Asia International Sports Games as well as information support and popularization of volunteering.
The memorandum was signed by the Minister of Physical Culture and Sports of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) Mr. Leonid Spiridonov and the Director of the Department of Physical Culture and Sports of the Kyrgyz Republic Mr. Aibek Abdymomunov.
“Today we signed a Memorandum for promotion volunteering within the 8th Children of Asia International Sports Games as well. After the Forum we will start selecting and traing volunteers, we will prepare so next year volunteers from Kyrgyzstan become part of Children of Asia Games,” said Mr. Aibek Abdymomunov, director of the Department of Physical Culture and Sports.
8th Children of Asia International Sports Games will be held from June 25 to July 7, 2024 in Yakutsk. During the Games, 224 sets of medals will be awarded in 24 sports.
