Meeting of Hearts: 8th Children of Asia Games volunteers welcomed in Yakutsk

Today, prior to the start of the 8th Children of Asia Games, the Modun Sports Complex in Yakutsk became a warm meeting place for volunteers who will support the competition spirit and help in its organization. In total, about 1,900 volunteers are involved in the Games.

Vladimir Maksimov, President of the Children of Asia International Committee, personally welcomed the volunteers and expressed gratitude for their invaluable contribution. Special words of appreciation were addressed to Marina Vyalkova from Tyumen, the winner of the competition for the best design of a volunteer logo, for whom participation in the Games has already become a good tradition.

"The insignia for volunteers participating in three or more Games will be given out at the equator of the competition, on July 1. We are especially pleased and warmed by the presence among us of volunteers who are participating in their fifth Games. Your dedication and love for the project deserve the warmest words of gratitude," emphasized Vladimir Maximov.

Kirill Bychkov, Chairman of the Government of the Sakha Republic, also congratulated the volunteers, noting the importance of their role in the upcoming Games.

"The 8th Children of Asia Games begin and end with you - the volunteers. You inspire the participants and are the heart of these Games. We appreciate the hard work you have put in, having gone through a difficult selection and training process, and we thank the mentors who have managed to assemble such a great team," Kirill Bychkov said.

The 8th Children of Asia Games promises to be a bright event uniting young athletes and volunteers in the pursuit of friendship and mutual understanding through sport.

We would like to remind you that the volunteer insignia has three grades: a bronze insignia for participation in three Games, a silver insignia for participation in four Games and a gold insignia for participation in five or more Children of Asia Games.
