Improvement of Yakutsk for the 8th Children of Asia International Sports Games is carried out in accordance with the plan approved by the Head of the Republic Aisen Nikolaev.
“According to the plan for the improvement of the city of Yakutsk, a major overhaul of the facades of multi-apartment residential buildings and social facilities is being carried out. In addition, the plan included the repair of sidewalks, worn-out asphalt concrete pavement, and pothole repairs. Current repairs of public spaces include painting benches, trash cans, fences, and replacing tiles in some places. Current repairs of monuments and landscaping will be carried out,” said Lyubov Papok, head of the Department of Architecture and Urban Planning under the Head of the Sakha Republic (Yakutia).
According to the head of the department, the commission has been conducting on-site inspections of the work progress.
The 8th Children of Asia International Sports Games will be held in Yakutsk from June 25 to July 7, 2024.
