The history of creation and development of the first institution of additional education for children in Yakutia is connected with the distant pre-war years. The building opened its doors on November 24, 1937. The children's pioneer movement was actively developing in the country. Yakutsk House of Pioneers became a favorite place for many boys and girls for years. Today it is the Children's Art Palace. As many years ago, boys and girls rush here to do their favorite thing next to talented teachers. At present the teachers of the Palace implement more than one hundred additional general educational programs. In addition, the list of educational and other services is constantly expanding, taking into account the needs of children and parents.
